Call costs

Zero-rated tariff applies to the first hour of direct-dialled local and national geographic voice calls only (numbers beginning 01, 02 or 03) starting within the Weekend (all day Saturday and Sunday) period. Connection & set-up:

A one-off £35 connection & set-up charge applies to all new National Broadband activations.

Minimum term:

All new connections are subject to a 12 month minimum term. If you cancel during the minimum contract period you will incur an early termination charge, and if you transfer to another provider without using a MAC you may also have to pay a disconnection fee.

Broadband speeds:

Broadband connection speeds are dependent on a number of factors, such as the distance between your telephone exchange to your house and the line quality, so whilst your broadband speed can vary, Virgin Media National Broadband will always give you the maximum connection speed available based on these factors.

Acceptable Use Policy:

You need to know that we operate an Acceptable Use Policy http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/legal/oncable/acceptableuse.html and a Subscriber Traffic Management Policy http://www.virgin.net/allyours/faqs/trafficmanagement.shtml which enable us to manage our heaviest users' traffic during peak times. This enables us to continue to offer top quality services at great value to our customers.

Wireless kit:

The free wireless kit is subject to availability and is only available to new broadband customers. Only one wireless kit is available per customer.

Wireless kit warranty: wireless kit will be free from defects in design, manufacture or materials except where caused by fair wear and tear for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. During the warranty period we shall at our option replace or repair the wireless kit free of charge provided that it has been kept, used and maintained in strict accordance with instructions given to you by us or the manufacturer and has not been modified or altered. Warranty not applicable if: (a) the defect is due to interference with or maintenance of the wireless kit by persons other than us or our authorised representatives; (b) the defect is of a minor nature which does not substantially affect the use of the wireless kit. We have the right to charge for replacement or repair of defects not covered by our warranty. Warranty provisions do not affect your statutory rights in relation to the description and quality of goods and services. **Talk tariffs:

You will be charged after that, see full rates for further details. Re-dial before the 60th minute to avoid call charges. There's no connection fee on zero-rated calls. Connection fees apply to all other chargeable calls. Standard rates and connection fees apply to all other chargeable calls.

Price:

The price you pay depends on whether you live in one of our "LLU unbundled" areas. If you do, as services cost us less in these areas, we can pass on these savings to you and offer you lower prices.

Number of free prints/ storage limits dependent on your broadband tier. Back-up software not yet Mac-compatible.

Free prints available for 12 months following activation of V Stuff. P+P for first 3 orders free of charge. Monthly print allowance cannot be carried over into next month.
