As a BT customer it is possible to withhold your number on outgoing calls by entering '141' before the number you wish to dial. You can also withhold your number on all calls via an agreement with BT.
Pay As You Go
This will not affect your ability to connect to the Virgin Media Pay As You Go service.
24seven
Our systems use your phone number, as well as your username and password, to identify you when you dial in. If you withhold your number, our systems will be unable to see your telephone number, and so we won't be able to connect you to the Virgin Media 24seven service.
To solve this problem, you'll need to amend your dial up settings to dial '1470' before your dial up number. This will then over-ride your 'number withheld' status for your Virgin Media 24seven Internet calls only. Click here for instructions on how to do this.
Alternatively you can call the call centre to walk you through the process. If you've forgotten your support number,
