I have changed my password. How do I update my settings?


This section will show you how to enter your new password in Outlook Express 6.
  • Open Outlook Express as you normally would.
  • Now click on 'Tools', then 'Accounts':
  • Select the 'Mail' tab. Here you will see the accounts you currently have.
  • Select your Virgin Media account and then click on the 'Properties' button:
  • Click on the 'Servers' tab.
  • You will need to delete the current password by clicking in the white box to the right of 'Password' and delete any text.
  • Now type your new password.
  • You may also wish to tick 'Remember Password'.
  • There is no need to select 'Log on using Secure Password Authentication ':

It is now easier to identify the account from which the email will be sent.
