This section will show you how to change
what email address/name is displayed by Outlook Express 6.

Open Outlook Express as you normally
would.

Now choose 'Tools' at the top then
'Accounts' from the drop down menu:

Click
on the 'Mail' tab.

Now select your account and click
on the 'Properties' button:
To check your email address:

Check the email address shown in the 'E-mail address' field.

If the address is wrong, anyone replying to an
email you send will be replying to an incorrect email address:

To edit your address, click in the white box to the right of
'E-mail address'.

Delete any text.

Retype your email address.
-
Then
click on the 'OK' button.
To check your name:

Check the name shown in the 'Name' field.

If your name is wrong, click in the white box to the right of 'Name', delete the text, and retype your name correctly.

Now click on the 'Close'
button:
Your email address/name will
now appear correctly on emails that you send.
