A Dial-Up Networking connection is already
established to connection name

This section will show you how to resolve the above error message in Outlook Express 4.
  • Receiving the following dialog box is generally caused by establishing a connection to another ISP and then trying to receive your Virgin Media email:
  • If you choose 'Try to locate the server on the current connection' it is unlikely you will be able to send email to others.
  • However, you will still be able to receive your email.
  • If you want to connect to Virgin Media simply select the 'Hang Up and dial Virgin' option.
  • Then click on the 'OK' button:


If you are sure you are connecting to Virgin Media it may be worth checking your settings for any errors.
