How do I create a new contact?
This section will show you how to add a new contact into your address book.
You will need to begin from your computer's desktop. This is the first screen you usually see when your computer has fully started.
Open Outlook Express using your desktop alias, or from the apple menu.
Click on the 'Address Book' button at the top of the window:
You will now see all your contacts listed in the address book window as below:
Click on the 'New' button:
You will now need to fill in the information.
We recommend a minimum of first name and last name:
Now click on the square in the top left hand corner of this box to close it.
You will now see the full window below:
Now click in the email addresses box.
You will see the following window:
Type in the email address.
Now click on the square in the top left hand corner of this box to close it.
You will now be returned to the window below:
As we can see the email address has now been added.
Click on the 'Save' button at the top, and then close this window.
You will now see your new contact added to your address book as below:
You have now added a contact to your contact list in Outlook Express.
