How do I import my contacts?

This section will show you how to import your saved contacts back into Outlook Express.
  • You will need to begin from your computer's desktop. This is the first screen you usually see when your computer has fully started.
  • Open Outlook Express using your desktop alias, or from the apple menu, and click on the 'File' menu:
  • Click on 'Import'.
  • You will then see the following window:
  • Click in the circle next to the words 'Import contacts from a text file' and click on the '>' arrow at the bottom of the window.
  • You will then see the following window:
  • Find the backup copy of your address book, click on it, and then click on the 'Open' button.
  • You will now see the following window:
  • Check that the file you have chosen is the correct address book and click on the 'Import' button:
  • Click on 'Finish' to complete the process.
Your backed up contacts have now been imported into Outlook Express.
