To check if your email is working correctly, you can send a test email to yourself. Create a new
email message then enter your own email address in the To: Field.
When you send the email this will be sent to the server
testing your outgoing email function. Then when you press Send/Receive or Get
Mail the email will be downloaded back to your computer and appear in your Inbox.
Providing this works your account is functioning
correctly.
If you encounter any problems with this process you will
need to check your email settings (select your email application here,
and possibly use the Telnet
instructions to check for a Mail
Block.
