Once I've registered for Virgin Broadband, can I
use the service straight away?
Unfortunately not. It takes around 7-10 days for your service to be activated (10-15 days if you are changing from ISDN/Home Highway).
After you register with us, BT need to perform a few more checks on your line to ensure that it can carry broadband. So unfortunately, even if you pass the initial phone line check done during registration, there is still a slim chance that you may not be able to get broadband.
Once BT have completed their final checks, you will receive an email from us telling you your activation date. More information on Virgin Broadband can be found in the Broadband package FAQs.
