The walking wall of soul sound that is Alexander O'Neal has made the UK his home in recent years and his fanbase here is considerable. Little
surprise then that his first double live album was recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo earlier this year.
This set features pretty much all the singer's hits, including a 13 minute-plus version of Hearsay and a 10 minute run-through of his
most famous track, Criticise.
After more than two decades in the business O'Neal's voice is as strong as ever and his band is as tight as you would expect. Not earth-shattering
stuff, but fans will lap it up.
